With the development of society and economy and the rapid development of science, the traditional glass industry is undergoing huge changes. In addition to developing new products, many companies will continue to improve the original glass process. Today Okay Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. shared with you the differences between PVC film glass and EVA film glass, which are mainly divided into the following points:

First, the resin is different
Literally, PVC film glass is PVC resin, and EVA glass is EVA resin.

Second, the processing temperature is different
The processing temperature of PVC film is about 120 degrees to 130 degrees, while the processing temperature of EVA film is slightly lower at about 110 degrees. The above-mentioned temperatures are the temperature of the glass surface.

Third, the processing equipment is different
EVA film glass processing equipment is relatively simple and the purchase cost is low. Generally, the price of machinery and equipment on the market is between 20,000 and 100,000 yuan; the processing equipment of PVC film glass is more complicated. It will also be more expensive, and it is also more complicated in terms of operability of the machine settings.

Fourth, the application field is different
EVA laminated glass is mainly used for indoor decoration or lower than outdoor because of the low melting point of EVA film. It will decrease the softened adhesion of the film due to the high outside temperature, which will cause the glass to fall. Widely used in outdoor or curtain wall because of the melting point of high temperature resistant PVC film and high aging resistance.

In addition to the above four points, the differences between the two are also mainly reflected in different water absorption rates, different air pressures, different seals, different prices and different transparency. Users can choose the product that suits them according to their needs.
